Constantine Allen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He soon moved to Hawaii before his first birthday and started his dancing at age 5. He studied at Pacific Ballet Academy and Ballet Hawaii as he grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 2007 at the YAGP competition, he was awarded the bronze medal at the New York finals in the junior category and also received a full scholarship to the Kirov Ballet Academy. He studied at the Kirov Academy with Vladimir Djoulouhadze and Anatoli Kucheruk between 2007 and 2010. At the New York finals in 2008 he was awarded the bronze medal in the junior category. In 2010 he went to John Cranko Schule and studied with Peter Pestov and Tadeusz Matacz. In 2011 he participated in the Tanzolymp Competition in Berlin, Germany and was awarded the Grand Prix. Soon after graduating he joined the Stuttgart Ballet company in 2012 as a member of the Corp de Ballet. Six months later he was promoted to Demi Soloist. In 2014 he was promoted to Principal Dancer.
He has had the opportunity and honor to dance a wide variety of both contemporary and classical ballets with Stuttgart Ballet under the guidance of Director, Reid Anderson. His solo roles include Prince Desiree in Sleeping Beauty, Romeo, Petrucchio in Taming of the Shrew, Othello, Lenski in Onegin, Prince Albrecht in Giselle and many other principal roles in other ballets by John Cranko, as well as George Balanchine, Hans van Manen, John Neumeier, William Forsythe, Kenneth MacMillan, Jorma Elo, Uwe Scholz, Maurice Bejart, Marco Goecke, Marcia Haydee, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Jiří Kylián, Glen Tetley, Douglas Lee, Edward Clug,
Katarzyna Kozielska, Louis Steins and Brent Parolin.
