In Les Grands Ballets' Studio-Theatre, with only a handful of days left before the premiere, the company has come together to rehearse The Enchanted Gift, a brand new holiday ballet!
Created by Artistic Director Ivan Cavallari, to the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos, The Enchanted Gift will take the stage for the very first time at Place des Arts from December 9 to 28, 2021, as the opening act of our holiday show this year, The Nutcracker: Clara's Journey. In Professor Nicholas' workshop, on Christmas Eve, the most magical thing has happened... all the toys have come to life!
The soprano Catherine Saint-Arnaud joins the dancers on stage with her performance of Bachianas Brasileiras n°5, the most celebrated work of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.
