Born in France, Éléonore Thomas started dancing at a very young age. She left her family and her hometown at the age of 9 to join the dance school of the Opéra National de Paris. For 8 years, she had the chance to work with many recognized teachers such as Carole Arbo, Véronique Doisneau, Elizabeth Platel and Claudette Souarnec. In addition to her rigorous training in classical dance, Éléonore took character, gaga, jazz, contemporary and theater classes, making her a versatile dancer open to all types of choreography.
With the Paris Opera, Éléonore had the opportunity to perform on the stages of the Opéra Garnier and the Opéra Bastille, notably in ballets like La Fille Mal Gardée and The Nutcracker. In parallel, she continued to perfect her art by following internships in Prague, Cannes, Brittany and even Vancouver, working with Maina Gielgud, Monique Loudières, Noëlla Pontois and Violette Verdy. At 17, Éléonore decided to take additional training at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec. At the end of her three-year course, she was chosen by Les Grands Ballets to dance in The Nutcracker. She joined the company in 2016.
