If you are arriving on foot or by taxi, or if you are being dropped off by car, this entrance provides quick and easy access to Théâtre Maisonneuve, Théâtre Jean-Duceppe, the Cinquième salle, the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme, the exhibition space, Place Deschamps bistro-bar, the shops, and the Musée d’art contemporain and its restaurant Le Contemporain (which can also be accessed via 185 St. Catherine Street West).
1600 St. Urbain Street
If you are arriving on foot or by taxi, or if you are being dropped off by car, this entrance provides quick and easy access to the Maison symphonique, Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, the Salon urbain, the box office, the Cinquième salle, Le Seingalt restaurant, and Van Houtte café-bistro.
The Place-des-Arts station provides direct access to all Place des Arts performance halls without having to set foot outdoors. Simply follow the directions as you get off the metro.
There is a taxi zone on St. Urbain Street, upon exiting from the Maison symphonique and Salon urbain, on the west side of the street, immediately to the south of the entrance to our parking lot. You can also find taxis on St. Catherine Street, upon exiting from Théâtre Maisonneuve, Théâtre Jean Duceppe, and the Espace culturel.
Whether using your own bike or a Bixi, you will find bike racks and Bixi stations nearby.

Getting dropped off at 1600 St. Urbain Street provides easy access to Place des Arts. Simply use the drop-off zone, which has been specially designed and configured to meet your needs. Individuals with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs can use outdoor and indoor ramps to access the various concert halls.

Make your way to 1450 St. Urbain Street to enter Place des Arts’ indoor parking lot. Your accessible parking sticker provides access to several parking spaces reserved for individuals with reduced mobility. Ask parking lot staff at the entrance for more information.
Reserved spaces are located on all three levels of the P-1 parking lot, close to an elevator leading up to the venue entrance level. Additional spaces are located in section P of the P-2 parking lot on the main foyer level leading to the concert halls.

Individuals requiring the use of a wheelchair must inquire at the main security desk located near the St. Urbain Street entrance, or at the entrance to the Maison symphonique for performances taking place in that venue. There are a limited number of wheelchairs available.
During performances, a member of the ushering staff is designated to assist people with reduced mobility. Customers requiring assistance need simply present themselves at the entrance to the concert hall.
A few seats in each of our concert halls are reserved for people in wheelchairs. Tickets for these special seats can only be purchased at the Place des Arts box office or by telephone at 514-842-2112 (or toll-free at 1-866-842-2112). You must mention that the ticket is for someone in a wheelchair when making your purchase.
Every hall in Place des Arts is equipped with an audio system that enables hearing-impaired spectators to tune in to the signal of the performance they are seeing. Audience members wishing to avail themselves of this service must bring their own earphone-equipped FM receivers, and tune in to the frequency for their concert hall.
