Lisa-Marie took her first jazz ballet class at the age of 5, encouraged by her parents, who were hoping to find the right channel for her energy overflow. Since then, she has never wanted to stop. Her love for movement and her creativity got her into teaching, which quickly turned out to be her vocation. The desire to transmit her passion and push her limits, as well as those of others, drives her in all her accomplishments.
On everything that has rhythm: music, words, a photocopier...
Everywhere, all the time; to express myself, to create or to ventilate!
When I get lost in music.
Lavalloise by origin and Montrealer by adoption, Lisa-Marie trained in Simonson jazz, classical ballet and contemporary ballet for 15 years on the north shore. She continued her training through the Dance Teaching Network and the École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec. Backed by her university degree in linguistics, Lisa-Marie considers and teaches dance as a language, with its alphabet, its grammar, its rules and all its possibilities for creation. For her, learning the technique follows the same principles as the development of a mother tongue: there is always more to know and to understand to be able to play with the codes and to create something different, something new.
