On my feet, on space, with the beat of my heart, with music and based on my own movement repertoire.
With awareness and with a connection between my physical and emotional selves. I move to express myself with understanding, confidence, love, creativity and music. I move as I explore the role of the body in harmony with space, with rhythm and with the flow of the movement. I move with purpose… I move to improvise, for the sake of movement.
My passion for movement and dance allows me to connect with myself and be present as I lead dance therapy sessions. When this connection happens, I let it go of all outside concerns. I can feel deeply connected to my body and mind as the creative process unfolds.
