Mission of the Jeunes Gouverneurs' committee
- To raise awareness among young professionals about philanthropy and the importance of getting involved and fundraising in the cultural community.
- Get involved in fundraising programs and networking activities to support Les Grands Ballets and develop a network.
- To introduce Les Grands Ballets to professionals in their network.
Prerequisites to becoming a member of the Jeunes Gouverneurs' committee
- Being between 25 and 40 years old;
- Purchase a Jeunes gouverneurs membership and a ticket to the launch cocktail ($380 + $50 including taxes);
- Commit to participating as a collective toward acheiving financial goals.
The role of a Jeunes Gouverneurs committee member
- To be an ambassador for the Jeunes Gouverneurs' mission;
- To actively contribute toward achieving financial goals through membership sales, securing sponsorships, ticket sales for the various Jeunes Gouverneurs events and securing raffle prizes;
- To develop and open one's network to other committee members.
Profile of a Jeunes Gouverneurs committee member
- Is sensitive to the need to support the arts;
- Has a developed professional network and is likely to participate in or sponsor the Jeunes Gouverneurs' fundraising initiatives;
- Has skills and an interest in sales and development;
- Is available to attend 3 annual meetings as well as the annual benefit event (calendar established at the beginning of each season);
- Has an interest in art and culture, notably in ballet.
