Making access to art more inclusive

Les Grands Ballets is very active in the community. The company is committed to democratizing ballet and making art accessible to all, this is why the Ballet to Share Program was created, in order to help reduce social inequalities and share the benefits of cultural experiences.

The program aims to created to offer a moment of joy and respite, for the duration of a performance, to people experiencing economic insecurity, social exclusion, emotional distress, or marginalization.

As a result, performances are presented throughout the season to members of vulnerable communities, free of charge, thanks to the invaluable support of partners and donors who have chosen to contribute out of care and generosity.

For the 2024–2025 season, we want to let everyone experience Les Grands Ballets by offering disadvantaged communities two performances at Place des Arts.

On October 25, 2024, over 300 women who have experienced violence were invited to attend Ludmilla for free.
