The ‘Envolée au Québec’ tour will make a few stops throughout the province until August 8.
Les Grands Ballets, who performed ECHOES on May 2 at the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke on May 2, will present various pieces from its vast repertoire at Théâtre Alphonse Desjardins in Repentigny (May 27), at the Festival Danse Encore in Trois-Rivières (June 3) and at Théâtre Hector-Charland in l’Assomption (June 4).
More dates will be announced in the following weeks!
'As the pandemic has forced a lot of us to stay home, it was important to me, as soon as the sanitary measures allowed us to, to share dance with our audiences outside of Montreal and to allow more people the chance to discover our art! I'm happy to bring a bit of Les Grands Ballets throughout the province and that this peculiar period allows us to present our vast repertoire on the various stages of Quebec.'
