On March 16, the Festival de Lanaudière unveiled its programming during a press conference held in Édifice Wilder, home of Les Grands Ballets.
From July 7 to August 6, the Festival will roll out an outstanding season in its enchanting setting and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Again this year, the Festival will take place at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay in Joliette, as well as in the Lanaudière Region’s historic churches, agritourism sites, and cultural venues.
The tradition continues: after their triumphant Lanaudière performances in 2019 and 2021, Les Grands Ballets return to the Amphitheatre to revisit two phenomenal choreographies acclaimed both by audiences and critics: Jeunehomme, choreographed by Uwe Scholz on the eponymous concerto by Mozart, as well as The Four Seasons by Mauro Bigonzetti, on Vivaldi’s famous masterpiece. A thrilling program!
