Sahra Maira has danced many soloist roles in the classical repertoire, including:
Little swans and Tarantella in Petipa’s Swan Lake; Scarf dancer, Fire dancer, Little Bayadère and Shades in Petipa’s La Bayadère; Friends and Wilis in Petipa’s Giselle; Canary Fairy, Diamond Fairy and Little Red Riding Hood in Sleeping Beauty; grand pas de deux in Don Quixote; Aegina in Seregi László’s Spartacus. Sahra also interpreted various roles in Anna Karenina, Taming of the Shrew, Sylvia, Romeo and Juliet, Balanchine’s Serenade and Who Cares. In Fernand Nault’s Nutcracker, she interprets the roles of Snow pas de deux, Chinese, Spanish and the waltz pas de deux.
Sahra’s contemporary repertoire includes various works from Stephan Thoss; she interpreted the principal role in Searching for Home, the role of the Maiden (fire) in Death and the Maiden and many different roles in Dream Away. She also danced in Nacho Duato’s Na Floresta, Jiří Kylián’s Kaguyahime, Summer pas de deux in Mauro Bigonzetti’s Four Seasons, Pas de six in Bigonzetti’s Cantata and the Tutor in Christian Spuck’s Leonce and Lena.
