Philip Morris Glass (1937- ) is an American composer and musician. He is considered as one of the most influential composers of the end of the 20th century. His musical style is sometimes described as minimalist or as music with repetitive structures. He has composed works for ensembles, operas, symphonies, concertos, movie soundtracks and works for soloists. Philip Glass is a triple Academy Award nominee.
