This class, designed for autistic children ages 5 to 8, aims to develop motor skills, spatial awareness, and physical mobility through a creative and playful dance-based approach. Children explore different movement possibilities, discover various directions, levels, and movement qualities, and are introduced to basic rhythmic exercises.
The main goal is to encourage children to discover dance in an environment where the teaching approach is thoughtfully designed to support their well-being. Each class is led by two facilitators of the National Centre for Dance Therapy, who are experts in dance and in supporting diverse populations.
