Every year, the Nutcracker Fund for Children offers to 2,800 children from underprivileged neighbourhoods of the Montreal area the chance to attend to a free performance of The Nutcracker! Thanks to the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur du Québec’s program Une école montréalaise pour tous and various nonprofit local organizations, thousands of children got to live the magic of The Nutcracker!
Each year, the Fund allows 2,800 disadvantaged or sick children to attend a free performance of The Nutcracker and to participate in educational workshops.
