Is it possible to successuflly integrate different artistic approaches in a therapeutic intervention? How can we complement different approaches and ensure a positive experience for participants?
This workshop, led by Paula Duffy, will offer participants a foundation upon which they can reflect on the possible therapeutic justifications for integrating different artistic modalities into their dance movement therapy and adapted dance practice. Examples and practical exercises will allow participants to experience integrating different modalities and reflect together on how this can inform their work.
This event is presented by the National Centre for Dance Therapy and supported by the RBC Foundation. It is dedicated to all the dance professionals, dance therapists, arts therapists, artists, educators and practitioners who offer arts-based interventions to marginalized communities.
We are only accepting a small number of participants. Please reserve your spot below and, if you cannot make it, let us know in advance, so we can free your space for someone on the waiting list.
