Tisha has been dancing and performing since the age of 3 under the tutilage of her grandmother and Montreal Tap legend Ethel Bruneau. Through the teachings of her grandmother, she learned Rhythm Tap, a traditional African American style of tap that focuses heavily on tap dancing/hoofing as musicianship. She started teaching tap at the age of 12 and has performed at the Jazz Festival of Montreal, The Governor General Awards and most recently the Luxe Magna Festival. Dancing has always been a part of Tisha's life and although she may be busy working as a Registred Nurse, she always makes time to share the art of tapdancing with others.
To release my inner fire.
Without missing a beat.
Of worries and fears.
