Since a very young age Kristen has always found a freedom and joy in expressing herself through movement. Being painfully shy as a young girl this new tool empowered her and allowed her to explore her individuality.
She received a professional training with École Supérieur de Ballet du Quebec and then went on to dance professionally with companies such as Tanz Graz (Austria) and Nederlands Dans Theater (Holland) as well as working as a guest artist for Jiri Kylian, Alexander Ekman, Vackav Kunes and many more. Choreographing and teaching has always been an integral part of her journey. Over the years her work has been presented by various companies and theatres such as Dresden SemperOper Ballet (Germany), Korzo Theater (Holland) and Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal. In 2018 she was the winner of the Pretty Creatives International choreography competition in Portland Oregon.
