Originally from Terrebonne, Janie studied dance at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec. A professional interpreter for 11 years, she has had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers and to participate in several international tours. Janie participated inThe Nutcracker with Les Grands Ballets in 2008 and 2009. In 2016, she joined Cas Public, under the direction of Hélène Blackburn. Since 2010, she has shared her passion for teaching, choreographing and judging various dance competitions (idance, Reprezent, Bravissimo, etc.) throughout Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and the United States. Her students are of all ages and levels, and appreciate her talent and her young and dynamic approach.

Constantly, even when watching a show, I dance in my head, in my heart and in my guts.
When I'm in the studio, when music plays and I dance or when I make people dance, time stops and there is nothing left but the present moment.
