In 2017, Les Grands Ballets relocated to the Édifice Wilder, in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. The company now has the space to suit the breadth of its talent, and infrastructures that meet international standards in dance. In addition, Les Grands Ballets now offers a wide range of services enabling Montrealers to enjoy its magnificent headquarters in downtown Montreal: Les STUDIOS recreation center, the National Centre for Dance Therapy, a production studio dedicated to creation, an atrium for hosting festive events and, coming soon, a coffee shop. To complete project funding, a major joint fundraising campaign raised $25.8 million dollars. Over 250 names now appear on the ground floor wall, as a public recognition of our donors.
"A donation to the Édifice Wilder is an investment in the Montreal arts community that supports innovation and the mission of Les Grands Ballets. Dance is a means of communication and an art that creates connections, develops the individual and enables beauty to emerge!"
- Marie Lynne Desrochers, Member of the Board, Les Grands Ballets
