For International Dance Day, Canada Post highlighted the illustrious career of two dance legends, Les Grands Ballets’ emeritus choreographer Fernand Nault and Karen Kain, director of the National Ballet of Canada, by releasing two beautiful commemorative stamps featuring the two artists. A wonderful tribute for these two marking figures of ballet and their legacy.
Fernand Nault has left Les Grands Ballets and the world of dance with a remarkable repertoire built throughout the decades, including his famous version of The Nutcracker.
The stamps were released on International Dance Day to raise awareness of Canada’s prominence in the global ballet community.
