Costume Designer

Born in 1990, Emma Paris is a costume designer based in France, whose work bridges the worlds of performing arts, cinema, and digital creation. After earning a Technical Baccalaureate in Garment Design and Tailoring in 2010, she pursued a path in Textile Design at the Brussels School of Fine Arts, followed by a Master’s specialization in Knitwear.
In Brussels, she met choreographer Etienne Béchard and began a six-year collaboration with his company Opinion Public, designing costumes for several of their productions. This experience was followed by an internship with Philippe Decouflé’s company (Nouvelle pièce courte, 2016), where she contributed to the creation of an entire tableau of knitted costumes.
Over the past decade, she has developed a versatile career in Paris, designing costumes for film, stage productions, and video games at Ubisoft, where her creations are worn and later digitized for virtual worlds.
Her ongoing collaboration with Etienne Béchard has led her to work with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, where she designed the costumes for The Rite of Spring (2017), Carmen (2023), and Snow White and the Mirror (2025).
