Sofía González was born in Mexico in 1999. She started taking classical ballet classes when she was 7 years old. When she was a student, she trained to become a professional dancer. She also participated in many festivals and competitions. She was admitted to the Jalisco Ballet Company in 2016, where she was a soloist for two years. Then she became part of the New Jersey Ballet Company in 2018, until 2019. She joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in 2020 as corps de ballet.
