The John Cranko School
Rachele Buriassi was born in Sarzana, Italy and started ballet at the age of 4. At 11, she won a full scholarship to attend École De Danse de Rosella Hightower in Cannes, France.
Three years later, Rachele moved to Stuttgart, Germany to attend the John Cranko School where she took Vaganova training classes. After graduating in 2006, she joined the Corps de Ballet of the famous Stuttgart Ballet. In 2010, Rachele was promoted to Second soloist and in 2012 to First soloist. She joined the Boston Ballet in 2015 as First Soloist, before joining, in 2019, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal as Principal dancer. Rachele also teaches and is invited as a guest dancer in various productions around the world.

2006 - Special Price “Wish to Will” at the Vaganova Grand Prix in St. Petersburg
2009 - Guest to the prestigious Erik Brühn competition in Toronto
2014 - Premio Donna Leader by EWMD (European Women’s Management Network)
2024 - Danza & Danza Award (Italian Dancers Abroad category)
