Éliane Jacques began dancing at the age of 6 and left her village of Sainte-Luce-sur-Mer at the age of 12 to join the École supérieure de ballet du Québec. There, she earned her college diploma in Dance - Interpretation, in conjunction with Cégep du Vieux Montréal, in 2024.
Her career has led her to perform various classical, contemporary, and neoclassical works. Notably, she was a soloist in George Balanchine's Concerto Barocco under the direction of Joysanne Sidimus in 2022, participated in the production Colossus with the Stephanie Lake Company, and performed in Daphnis et Chloé choreographed by Andrew Skeels in 2023.
Éliane completed her training in 2024 with a soloist role in Swan Lake for the annual corps de ballet performance at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, as well as a contemporary solo choreographed by Gaby Baars. She danced with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in 2018 during the Défilé at the Soirée des étoiles and in their productions of The Nutcracker, where she performed various roles from 2017 and later as corps de ballet in 2022 and 2023.
Interested in the "arts and sciences" approach, she also collaborated on the co-creation and performance of contemporary works with the company Fleuve | Espace Danse.
She joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens as an apprentice in 2024.
