Ludwig Minkus, also known as Léon Fyodorovich Minkus (1826-1917) is an Austrian composer known for his various works for the St. Petersburg Imperial Theatres. He also created the music for the works of famous Ballet Masters Arthur Saint-Léon and Marius Petipa. His most famous works include Don Quixote (1869), La Bayadère (1877) and the 1881 remake of Paquita.
