Lyrical jazz is a dance style that emerges from the fusion of ballet with jazz and contemporary dance. It combines the clean lines and technical aspects of classical ballet with the freedom, fluidity, and musicality of jazz, contemporary and modern dance. Expressive, subtle and dynamic, lyrical choreography is a channel for expressing strong emotions and is often danced on popular music and grand ballads.
