During this webinar, Laura Dethier will share her practical experience and expertise on the benefits of movement and dance in particularbefore, during, and after cancer treatment. Beyond its positive effects on physical health, dance can contribute to emotional well-being, self-confidence, social connection, and a renewed relationship with the body, which is often challenged by illness.
Through concrete examples and reflections, this discussion will provide a deeper understanding of the role dance can play in supporting individuals affected by cancer. It offers a compassionate and deeply human perspective on a practice that opens new possibilities for enhancing quality of life and promoting overall well-being. This webinar is intended for dance professionals, healthcare practitioners, social service professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about the connections between dance, health, and supportive care.
This webinar is offered in collaboration with Quand on danse at the Mosa Ballet School in Liège, Belgium.
