Drawing from her daily practice with teenagers, Sarah Lefebvre offers a concrete, experience-based session to help participants better understand the dynamics of motivation and engagement specific to this age group. She will share real-life situations from schools and youth intervention settings, where trust-building, active listening, and recognizing individual needs have helped transform relationships and foster more genuine involvement from young people.
The training provides practical, immediately applicable strategies to encourage adolescent participation in various contexts: schools, youth centers, community organizations, etc. It highlights proven relational and pedagogical approaches, such as creating a safe and structured environment, adapting intervention language, and emphasizing individual strengths.
Participants will leave with concrete tools to help create a climate that encourages engagement—where youth feel heard, empowered, and supported. This training is intended to be a space for reflection and professional growth, enriched by diverse and meaningful field experiences.
We accept only a limited number of participants. Please reserve your spot, and if you’re unable to attend, let us know so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
