Rules and conditions
Registration
  1. Registration fees for the 20-week program is $400, tx. inc. ($347,90 +tx), or $20 a class, payable in two parts (upon registering and at the 10th session).
  2. For registrations after January 15th, 2017, the registration fee is $20 per session, taxes included, for sessions as of the registration date until June 11th, 2017.
  3. Classes will only be held if a minimum of 15 people register.
  4. If this number is not attained, we will communicate with you to reimburse the total amount of your registration.
  5. Your registration will only be considered complete once your payment and medical and release forms are submitted. These forms will be sent to you by email following payment, in two business days.
  6. If you ever need to cancel your participation, please send out a cancellation form, as stated in the annex 8 of the Loi sur la protection du consommateur.
During classes
  1. Considering this is a pilot project, 3 sessions will be observed by Andrea de Almeida, R-DMT, as part of the program development.
  2. The program is of a 20 week duration, given on a 22-week period. There will be no classes on March 5th and April 16th.
  3. Classes will be given in Studio B at les Grands Ballets, 4816, rue Rivard, Montréal. Exceptionnally, the classes on February 19th and 26th will be given in Studio C.
  4. Please note the studio is located on the 2nd floor and is only accessible through a staircase.
  5. We suggest that you wear comfortable clothes, or a sports attire in which you will be comfortable to move.
  6. A designated space is available for coats and boots/shoes outside the studio.
  7. No lockers or changing rooms are available, but a wide bathroom is located close to the studio if you need to change. Considering the limited space, we suggest that you arrive already changed.
  8. It is forbidden to bring food or beverages inside the studio, except for a bottle of water.
  9. It is forbidden to use body products (such as oils, sunscreen, creams, etc.) that may damage or stain the studio floor.
  10. It is strictly forbidden to enter the studio with boots or shoes. Only dance shoes, socks or bare feet are permitted.
  11. It is strictly forbidden to use other studios than the one designated or to circulate in the Dancer’s room or administrative area of Les Grands Ballets.
  12. It is strictly forbidden to use the training materials or to manipulate the equipment stored in the studio.
  13. We suggest not bringing valuable objects with you or to bring your bag/purse inside the studio.
  14. Les Grands Ballets are not responsible of theft or accidents which could happen during the classes.
  15. Classes are bilingual.
For parents and other resources
  1. A waiting space is designated for parents in the building’s ground floor.
  2. A parking lot adjacent to the building is available for for free on Sundays, from 4:45pm. Please advise reception if you are using one of these parking spaces.
