Les Grands Ballets are happy to once again open their doors to the public as part of the province's culture festival, Les Journées de la culture!
Join our dancers in the Studio-Théâtre, Les Grands Ballets' in-house theatre, to partake in two activities: the company ballet class, led by Artistic Director Ivan Cavallari, and a rehearsal of Rule 26 ½, the latest creation by choreographer Gaby Baars.
This event will give you the unique opportunity to step inside a day in the life of our dancers. The company class consists of a series of exercises at the barre followed by the practice of classical ballet phrases. This warms up the artists' bodies and prepares them to take on a full day of rehearsals, all while keeping up their technique. Next, the rehearsal of Rule 26 ½ will offer a sneak peak of the opening piece to our upcoming show, The Four Seasons, which will be presented at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in October.
You must book your spot to partake in these activities. To assist both the class and the rehearsal, each activity needs to be booked individually. Proof of vaccination will be required upon entry on the day of the event.
