Les Grands Ballets Canadiens is proud to announce the reopening of Les STUDIOS, the company’s leisure centre, on July 27. Following the deconfinement measures announced by the Governement of Quebec on June 22 concerning the reopening of sports and recreational centres, Les STUDIOS can now welcome its members back safely, with an offer of 13 classes per week for the summer period.
By reconfiguring the space and establishing a path that starts at the building’s entrance, social distancing is respected at all times when circulating on the premises. Antibacterial gel distributors are installed at several key locations, and all studios are disinfected and aired out before and after each class. Moreover, mask-wearing is mandatory for members and staff at all times. The complete guide of safety measures and an exhaustive list of modifications brought to Les STUDIOS’ installations can be found online.
Les STUDIOS will offer 13 classes per week until the end of the summer session on August 30, including 8 classes in studio and 5 virtual classes offered online. In studio classes have been adapted to respect the sanitary measures and social distancing. The success of the online classes offered during the confinement period of the last few months has confirmed the necessity of remote classes for those who wish to continue training at home.
